MY ESSENTIAL OIL STORY
I was instantly smitten. I fell in love with the company and the products. As a consumer, Young Living's range of products is amazing! Once I got starter kit, I got access and a discount for YL's clean make up, supplements infused with essential oils, a kids, baby and pet line, access to a CBD product line! I basically make essential oils my first stop for anything beauty, wellness and remedy related. When they say that there is an essential oil for everything, there really is!
HOW CAN I USE ESSENTIAL OILS IN MY LIFE?
My starter kit essential oils and my other essential oils from Young Living are my first go to for everything. Health and Wellness -Thieves, Frankincense for Immunity. I use Citrus Fresh, Lavender, Lemon, Valor, Peace and Calming Stress Away for stress, emotions and sleep. Thieves, Lemon, Citrus Fresh for natural cleaning options, and sooo much more! SEED TO SEAL PROMISE
Young Living has a seed to seal promise that you can read about here. It promises that YL takes the upmost care into what goes into their products. THAT IS HUGE. Young Living owns all of their own farms, grows their crops with a great amount of care and is transparent enough that you can stop by their distillery anytime you want and see it all for yourself.
QUALITY OF ESSENTIAL OILS
Lets talk about why its important to know where your oils come from and how they are made. The FDA doesn't really monitor this category of products. They will allow an essential oil company to put 100% pure on their label but will allow only 8% or so of that product to be pure while the rest can be alcohol, synthetics, chemicals that may actually harm you. This is what allows the product to be cheaper. This is true of most essential oils that you buy out and about. Other companies may use pesticides that allow for more crop yield but the end product may now include that pesticide. This also allows them to make cheap essential oils. A product that you are trying to use to improve your wellness. My friends, be educated on this. Investing in good oils is SO worth it.
HOW TO QUICKLY IDENTIFY AN IMPOSTER
1. They are sold in plastic bottles. A real, pure essential oil may eat thru plastic, since it is a synthetic substance. If an essential oil is sold in plastic bottles, walk away.
2. They are all the same price. For example, Lemon is the same price as Lavender and Frankincense. At one of my favorite retailers that shall remain unnamed, I checked out their essential oil stock one day. Lemon and Frankincense were both $4.97. Frankincense is a lot more costly to source, grow and distill than Lemon. This will tell you that it is full of additives to bring the cost and price down.
3. INGREDIENT LIST If the ingredient list is long and full of chemicals, there is nothing good that can be found here. Walk AWAY.
You don't have to sell anything unless you want to. I didn't opt to start sharing until I was a year in. And there was no pressure. If you do chose to sell or share about essential oils, you don't have to keep stock in your garage or ship a darn thing. (thank goodness!) All you have to do to start is buy a starter kit and you get an instant referral link. You don't have to buy an extra starter kit for the business.
Basically, you get to use some of the best products out there that you would use anyway, and make a paycheck. Its pretty dang amazing! You can just use the products, or casually refer your friends and fam, or make it into a business! Its up to you!

This one up above is the Desert Mist is a fav! I was so excited when they made this diffuser part of the Premium Starter Kit. It can diffuse up to 10 hours and has multiple light settings.
My favorite is the candlelight flicker setting. This is part of the basic kit (with the 12 oils list above) that you can get for $165 (+ shipping and tax)

This beauty (above) steals the show every time. Meet the Aria. She is stunning and also can diffuse for hours. This is a stunner and you will get constant compliments with this beauty. If you really want this diffuser, the best time to get it is with your starter kit. It's an upgrade from the basic kit and is an extra $100. It's $265 (plus shipping and tax) for this beauty. This diffuser is $231 wholesale on it's own, so it's best value with really with the starter kit because you also get your 12 essential oils! There are other diffusers available that you can pick from too at the point of sale but those are my favorites.
