{water for elephants}

A few years back I read the book Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. Have you read it?

If not, pick it up.It became one of my favorite books which isn't easy because I read alot. {okay, maybe it isn't that hard. I have a lot of books that I just love} The movie came out last Friday. I have been so busy with Easter weekend and an upcoming show that I haven't seen it yet. I am supposed to see it on Saturday night, cannot wait. Even if the movie isn't as good as the book, I love a vintage circus so I am excited to see the costumes, and the movie set, etc. Its been a long time since I have anticipated a movie this much.

Although I just heard that The Help another wonderful book is being made into a movie, coming out in August. That's going to be another must see for me.

Have you seen Water for Elephants yet?

{Happy Easter}

Isn't this vintage image so sweet?

Happy Easter!

my favorite Easter memory: Singing "Up from the grave, He arose" at sunrise services in my Grandma's rural farmtown.

Favorite Easter Food: Cadbury Eggs, Hot Cross Buns, anything my talented chef-brother makes us.

What am I doing this year? Spending it with friends and my beau.

The most important thing about Easter?

Up from the grave he arose; with a mighty triumph o'er his foes; he arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever, with his saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Up from the Grave He Arose (Low in the Grave He Lay)Text: Robert Lowry, 1826-1899

Happy Easter Friends and Family!
