A New Look!

Thanks to Jaime Beitler, my website designer, I have a whole new look on my blog that matches my website! Thanks Jaime! I love it! Jaime is the best thing that happened since sliced bread.

Just had coffee with my friend Emily this morning. She is in the process of opening her own flower business and she is just so talented. I cannot wait to share her website when it is done on my blog. She is a fellow Nebraska native but lives here in Denver. She is friends with a bunch of other creative people. It is so fun to meet people that you can just relate to so well. I have a lot of those like minded friends and have made it a point to get together with them over the last year and bounce ideas off each other and see what we can help each other with. Emily just so happens to live in my building, at my prodding, so it is easy to get together and walk down and have some coffee and chat. Stay posted for Emily's information and if you have friends that need flowers for a wedding or an event, she is fantastic! Trust me.

Bye for now.

Valentines, Father's Day, & Birthday Scottie Note Cards

I did some work today on one of my new favorite designs, Scottie Dog Duff. My original vision for him was to be able to change his collar to fit different occasions. That is what I worked on today I don't have my beloved website designer & friend Jaime with her fabulous camera but I will have access to a better camera soon but I wanted to get these out there. The cards are $3.00 each or $10.00 for a package of eight. These are not yet on my website but you can email me at info@kararosenberry.com to order. I ship anywhere and will include the cost of shipping in my email back to you with your total due. I also have a pay pal account or can accept a check thru the mail.

Have a lovely one!

Under the Big Top... !

"girly circus invites"

This is one of my favorite projects yet. It is also on my website. A lady from New Jersy contacted me to make her daughter a girly circus birthday part invitation. She was really fun to work with and I came out with one my favorite designs.

Teddy Bear

I drew this sweet bear for one of the nicest girls ever that I work with. The bear is holding a cupcake with one candle for her daughter turning one.

puppy love

i drew this "pug" (not sure that it totally looks like a pug to me) for some custom holiday work this year. I really think he is sweet and plan to use him often.

Monkey Business

I did this baby shower invitation---(just a small portion shown) for one of my best friend's baby shower. She is expecting a boy...This is a scanned image so the colors are a little more vivid in person.

Phew.... the holiday rush is over... and quite a rush it was. I am finding myself thinking about my spring shows already as my biggest and usual one occurs in March. www.springfling.com. I found this video today and thought it was perfect.... Very darling.

Watch it...I think you will love it. Especially if you are a creative soul.
I am still in the midst of winter but am thinking Spring. Nests, bridal cakes, bees with crowns, just crowns, initial letter cards (planning to work on a whole new line of note cards with initials) thinking summer with notecards featurings mermaids, ice cream cones, seashells perhaps and thinking of a fathers day design perhaps. Lots on the mind, and I just wanted to take a break in January!

I found myself watching rudolph the red nosed reindeer and I want a copy of that movie. It was the old version and it was so sweet. I want to watch it in still motion and draw the reindeer, the elves, the darling pink trees and the spotted elephant and doll in the discarded toy scene, Santa and Mrs. Santa's lavender house... so darling. I will have to revisit that next fall.

Onto Spring...
