PLANT POTION  via  Britney Wheeler

If you have plant babies you need a plant spray. Even if your baby doesn’t need extra humidity, it’s really easy for them to get a variety of bugs and certain types are pretty difficult to get rid of.  Here is what you need to make this lovely potion.

Get a large-ish spray bottle
Add 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
One capful Thieves Cleaner
10 drops peppermint
Optional: a few drops of rosemary, lemon, purification, whatever suits your fancy
Fill with water

Shake before every use and spray all over your plant AND the underside of their leaves weekly. They will thank you for it!
PRO TIP A few times a year, give your plant a shower and really rinse off all of the dust. For any other time you feel like they’re dusty but not in need of a shower just yet, dip a washcloth in diluted thieves cleaner and gently wipe off their leaves. Let those babies breathe.

GOT MOLD?
You are the plant queen but sometimes get mold on your potted plants?  Next time you water your plants, mix 1/2 tablespoon of Thieves Household Cleaner in with 2 caps of water.  Add a drop of Tea Tree Oil to increase benefit.

ESSENTIAL OILS IN THE GARDEN
  • Orange oil attracts pollinators.  Mix it with Lavender if you wish
  • Strings or Strips soaked in Essential Oil  and water and then hung in problematic areas can confuse the sense of smell and distract pests and insects without having to use spray
  • Clove is another basic essential oil that is useful in the garden to repel insects, and control fungus and mildew on your soil and plants.
  • Oregano Essential Oil is a powerful antibiotic oil.  Now you can use it in the garden to help control fungus.
