{1 week}

1 week until Christmas? It just doesn't seem possible. I am not quite ready yet but I will be, after this weekend! I hope! My sister and husband are coming to town with her four little ones, Colette,10, Elle Victoria, 8, and twins Nicholas and Sophia, age 5 to spend time with her husbands parents and I. I am so glad they are coming and I look forward to spoiling the kids a little! My sister and I also get about 24 hours together, alone shopping, eating brunch at Bistro Vendome, etc. and I just cannot wait. I am sad that I don't get to spend the holiday with the rest of my family and I will miss them as will all be in Nebraska.
What are your plans for the holiday season? & are you ready yet?
Wishing you a productive Friday!

A Lovely Winters Night

My friend Emily of Fern and Flora, hosted a Winter's Evening Boutique at her lovely home a few weeks ago. We had such a lovely time. Her home is so lovely to begin with and we added a few details like hot cocoa and delicious cookies and fudge. Top that off with some holiday shopping and great company and it was such a wonderful evening.

Fudge, peanut butter balls and almond cookies that resembled vintage ornaments were all so good. All made by Meg of Desuet.

a stack of mugs ready for hot cocoa and fresh whipped cream

a tray full of lovely ornaments.

Flowers by Emily of Fern and Flora, she makes headbands but she is also a florist. The strung flowers and candles against a mirror wall in her home. It was so pretty.

Holiday Shows {Part 2}

{the phipps mansion} The show I did was in the tennis pavillion of this mansion, next door. Can you imagine how life must have been back when this mansion was being lived in by a family? This is only half of the grand mansion. So pretty on a snowy morning.

I did a many shows that I wanted to highlight because they were really, so fabulous. See my previous post from yesterday with part 1 of the shows I did and come back tomorrow for part three, a Winter's Night Boutique.
A show that I have done for years now is the gifts for yule show at the Phipps Tennis Pavillion. This time I shared a booth with my favorite jewelry gal, Jaala.
We had so much fun, had the best food, and enjoyed great company while selling our goods.
Have a great Saturday!
